PREC Showcases Green Solvent Innovations & Specialty Monomers at 2026 China Coatings Show

The three-day 2026 China Coatings Show & the 24th China International Coatings Exhibition concluded successfully at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on July 17. Functional Solvents: PREC highlighted Ethyl 3-Ethoxypropionate (EEP, CAS#763-69-9) and Methyl 3-Methoxypropionate (MMP, CAS#3852-09-3), while also showcasing 2-Heptanone (MAK, CAS#110-43-0), Isobutyl Isobutyrate (IBIB, CAS#97-85-8), Diisobutyl Ketone (DIBK, CAS#108-83-8), Methyl Isoamyl Ketone (MIAK, CAS#110-12-3) and 3-Methoxybutyl Acetate (MBA, CAS#4435-53-4). These products provide eco-friendly solvent solutions featuring medium-to-slow evaporation rates and low odor, enabling applications in high-solids coatings and various coating systems.
Specialty Monomers: The booth featured Acetoacetoxyethyl Methacrylate (AAEM, CAS#21282-97-3), Pentaerythritol Triallyl Ether (APE, CAS#1471-17-6) and Trimethylol Propane Diallyl Ether (TMPDE, CAS#682-09-7). New Product Spotlight: The spotlight on 3-methoxy-N,N-dimethylpropionamide (MMPA, CAS#53185-52-7) marking the evolution of PREC’s eco-friendly solvent portfolio from an “ester + ketone” system to an “ester + ketone + amide” platform. It offers novel formulation upgrade solutions for industrial baking finishes, insulating coatings, high-solids coatings and other related applications.
